I made the grossest thing for lunch today... When my parents are out golfing I like to experiment with food. I like to look at what we have in the house and make weird food out of it. Most of the time it's disgusting. Actually, I don't know why I still do it, because it's usually disgusting. Anyway, today I saw that we had pasta and bananas. Remember how on Top Chef Richard would fry bananas like scallops? I decided to do that, and I decided to make a faux seafood pasta dish, so I used the pasta, the bananas, and a peanut butter sauce. I cooked the pasta, I fried the bananas in canola oil (how could I have been so stupid?!), and I microwaved the peanut butter with some water. Ew. I didn't realize this, but I actually hate bananas. I can stand them raw, but once your freeze or cook them, I hate them. Aaaand I haven't eaten peanut butter in a year or so because I ate it every day for five years. It was GROSS. Luckily I had some plain pasta left, so I ate that to clear out the gross. Ewwwwww so gross!
On another, happier note, I'm going to see my really good friend who went off to college this year because he's back for the weekend. I've missed him sooo much and I'm really excited to hang out with him today. I don't know what we're going to do, but it's going to be awesome.
Rubik's cube time for today: 1 minute 34 seconds (pitiful, I suck at life)
Still happy about Connecticut :-D
